This week at Roosevelt, our talented 1^st and 2^nd grade students brought the stage to life with their delightful performance of the musical "Swamped"! These young performers captivated the audience with their enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork as they sang, danced, and acted their way through this engaging production. From colorful costumes to memorable songs, our students demonstrated incredible growth in their confidence and performance skills, making their families and teachers incredibly proud. The show was a wonderful celebration of the arts and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our youngest performers at Roosevelt Elementary School.

Special appreciation to Ms. Galuszka for putting all of the hard work and extra time required to such a performance.

Free Art Camp (5 spots left) Gr 3-5

Spring Break Art Camp available to Roosevelt students in grades 3^rd-5^th. Students will be provided a AM snack and lunch. Daily sessions will run from 9 am – 1pm.  Students will help design a mural that will be installed on the Roosevelt Campus.  Sign your student up today for fun this Spring Break.

Roosevelt Beyond the Bell registrar now!

Registration runs March 25 – April 5 for elementary and middle school students on a staggered schedule by school name.  Beyond the Bell - Session 4 - Parks Tacoma

Beyond the Bell activities, for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, take place at all of Tacoma’s elementary schools from the end of the school day to 5:45 p.m., Monday-Friday. Pricing is flexible, based on your family’s needs.

Students, families invited to tour colleges

All Tacoma Public Schools families are invited to participate in our annual set of College Tours for Families.

Tacoma Public Schools’ Community Partnership Office, in partnership with the College Success Foundation, organized tours of seven outstanding local colleges. Guests will tour campuses and learn from college staff about the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships and college life—unique to each school.

Tours are designed for TPS students and families to learn together. Explore your future possibilities and gain firsthand insights into programs, resources and more.

TPS Night at the Rainiers is May 27

TPS and the Rainiers are once again teaming up for a night at the ballpark in May.

All Tacoma Public Schools attendees are invited to participate in the pre-game parade on the baseball field. Rainiers players will wear student-designed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. Students will also sing the national anthem, perform color guard, throw the first pitch, and perform during the game.
